What the app stores

The cities, date and pins on your board are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are never sent to our servers. A share link contains the board itself in the address, so only people you give the link to can see it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which features are used (for example "a city was added"). Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland these cookies are only set after you agree in the consent message; until then Google receives cookieless signals only.

Advertising

Time Pinboard is free and paid for by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads and, if you allow it, to personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the "Privacy and cookie settings" link that Google's consent message adds to the page, opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ad Settings, or visit aboutads.info. Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data about you, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not keep accounts or store your board on a server, most requests are handled by clearing your browser's storage and cookies for this site, or through Google's controls linked above.
